My JanSport Super Sized Summer Race

Last June 10, together with my fellow bloggers, we experience the supersized JanSport event at Mall of Asia. Along with other students, we made the most out of that day. Students ended summer with the JanSport Super Sized Summer madness!

The super sized event happened at the SM Mall of Asia, By The Bay at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Teams of 2 ran around Mall of Asia grounds for an amazing race type of event with 10 giant sized challenges and obstacles all taking a shot to bring home P50,000.

The things we had to go through. Outmaneuver a massive inflatable, stomach 1.5 liters of soda, unlock the secrets of an enormous JanSport backpack, a photo memory game, conquer wall climb, spot-the-difference challenge and a coin crawl amongst a pool of balls. The race’s obstacle course will test their stamina and coordination on the way to the winner’s podium.

My partner Alex from http://www.recyclebinofamiddlechild.com and I finished 8th from the 50+ participant. I gotta say, that's an achievement. But I somehow wished they could have given the top 10 some kind of a token. :)

Along with JanSport goodies we got, cash prizes are awaiting the first three teams to complete all 10 challenges. Third-placers win Php 20,000, while the second-fastest team will win Php 30,000. The fastest duo will take home a whopping Php 50,000!
